About the Host

I’m Don; a pretty regular guy. I work with vulnerable people and help solve problems for a living. I’ve saved some lives and lost some friends. I’ve traveled, climbed mountains, dipped my hands into glacial pools and faced off with bears and moose. I’ve failed, made plenty of mistakes and been battered around. The older I get, the more I have to live with the pain of my injuries; the wear and tear from farm labor as a kid, to skiing accidents, bad falls and getting hit by cars. Thankfully, I married well. My wife is a genius and any humor on this show can pretty much be traced back to her. I also write and talk a lot.

Dealing with outrage, sensationalism and misinformation is exhausting. Today I talk about how to lessen the burden, find a little more space for yourself and waste less time on things that don't make you happy. Or at least deal with all of that because no one has perfect answers.
Also, I read the prologue of my novel, Lancet, available pretty much everywhere, but easiest to find on Amazon here: https://a.co/d/bWcZa5E
